Are you a leader in healthcare; expert in quality improvement (QI)? Do you share HQIP's commitment to improving health outcomes through the use of carefully designed, high quality national clinical audits to bring about improvements in health care quality?

HQIP (Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership) and the Health Foundation have come together to create the exciting new role of Senior QI Fellow at HQIP. The post will run for a one year period in the first instance and the advert is now live with full details on the HQIP website.

This is a great opportunity for an appropriately skilled individual to work across the National Clinical Audit and Patient Outcomes Programme to develop its healthcare QI impact.

The overarching aim of the role is to increase the effectiveness of the NCAPOP in stimulating improvements in quality of care and patient outcomes. This aim is to be achieved in two key areas:

1. Improve how national clinical audit topics are selected and specified, with the aim of maximising their future healthcare QI utility. In addition, supporting national clinical audit delivery teams to establish a systematic QI-led approach during early development of each audit.
2. Develop an approach for identifying and reporting themed improvement messages where an improvement need is identified across the portfolio of NCAPOP topics and outputs. For example, at healthcare provider or pathway level, as well as across individual conditions.
