How does involvement in the network help fulfil RCoA training requirements?

SWARM

Our trainees need to complete research modules during both their intermediate and higher training. Many of the competencies required can be achieved through involvement in SWARM as a local project trust lead or key investigator. To supplement this, our annual conference invites project proposals that can be developed in workshops with expert mentors prior to presentation.

WM TRAIN

Many of the criteria laid down on Annex G of the curriculum for basic, intermediate and higher level training in research and audit dictate understanding of the multiple facets of research. Nothing enhances understanding like active immersion research activity; navigating the complexities of conception, funding, ethics and project management. Those involved will be able to get involved at various stages. The network will provide information on research training and opportunities outside the region.
